E20 Park Copenhagen launches second phase
E20 Park Copenhagen, one of Denmark’s largest logistics parks, has launched its second phase of development including two warehouse opportunities that will provide nearly 24,000 sq m of modern logistics space for the Greater Copenhagen market.
The park is now offering units from 7,000 sq m upwards.
Unit DC2 will provide a total of 14,036 sq m of high-quality modern space, including 12,033 sq m of warehousing plus offices, staff facilities and mezzanine space offering flexibility for either single occupier use or as two smaller, self-contained units.
Unit DC6 will be a self-contained, standalone 9,696 sq m logistics facility featuring prominent office accommodation as well as 8,267 sq m of warehousing plus staff facilities and mezzanine, making it ideal for occupiers seeking a national or regional headquarters for their operations.
Building permits are in place and following pre-lets each unit could be delivered within 12 months of signing.
A further 82,000 sq m is also available at the park for pre-let or on a built-to-suit basis, offered in a range of sizes from 3,850 sq m upwards, including space for occupiers with specific needs and large-scale space requirements, providing an opportunity to secure bespoke facilities.
All facilities are expected to be delivered to high standards of operational and energy efficiency to suit growing businesses seeking high quality space in close proximity to Denmark’s largest consumer market, including targeting a BREEAM Excellent accreditation.
Daniel Carstens, Senior Asset and Commercial Manager, Verdion, said: “This is an important step forward for E20 Park Copenhagen. The success and full leasing of its first phase has already demonstrated the demand for high-quality and future-ready logistics space and secured high profile names across a range of sectors, from Holmris, Drømmeland and Molo to TyreProff and NDI.
“We’re now seeing clear and increasing demand for more modern logistics space across Greater Copenhagen. With two new buildings providing almost 24,000 sq m, and plans for a further 82,000 sq m, E20 Park has the capacity to support businesses as they grow and their requirements evolve.
“Our technical expertise and experience also means we can support businesses across a wide range of sectors, whether they are looking for a new logistics hub or bespoke state-of-the-art warehousing to support their operations.”
Kasia Tissot, Fund Manager at Aviva Investors, added: “We are pleased to extend capacity at E20 Park, reflecting growing demand for warehousing in the region surrounding Copenhagen. Denmark continues to grow as an important and dynamic logistics hub in Continental Europe. We believe developing further facilities at E20, built with occupiers’ needs front of mind, will strengthen its credentials and make it relevant further into the future and strengthening its potential to support long term investment outcomes.”
